DNV Energy offers technology qualification, risk-based verification, offshore classification, and asset-operation services. In addition, DNV Energy offers operations excellence services to assist the industry safely and responsibly improve business performance.

DNV Industry
DNV Industry is a world-leading certification body and a global provider of solutions for managing risk. The goal is to assist customers in creating trust and confidence and help them safely and responsibly improve their performance. Services range from management system certification, climate change, corporate responsibility, product certification and training to analyses and assessments of companies’ main business risk which can help them identify areas for improvement and risk reduction. DNV Industry has customers in most industry sectors. But target industries are: Food and Beverage, ICT and Telecom, Automotive, Health Care, Transport, Finance, Process, and Public & Defence, for which we provide industry specific services and solutions in addition to services from our cross-industry portfolio.

DNV IT Risk Management
DNV can help customers understand and control the risks of running complex IT and communication systems. From process improvements for development of software and systems, to information quality management, information security and more, DNV IT Risk Management has services assisting customers towards secure and predictable operations.

DNV Maritime
As one of the world’s leading classification societies, DNV helps the maritime industry to manage risk throughout a ship’s life. DNV offers classification, statutory certification, fuel-testing and a range of technical and business-related services to achieve high quality shipping. Currently DNV classes more than 5,000 ships, totalling more than 112 million gross tons – or close to 17% of the world fleet. DNV Maritime employs over 2700 in over 300 offices around the world.
